Bisque Imports supplies bisqueware and ceramics to paint-your-own-pottery studios. Its answers lived in two places, a catalog of about 7,600 products and a library of about 380 technique videos, and there was no one place to ask. TSD built Mugsy.
What Mugsy does.
A customer asks in plain words, or sends a photo of a piece, and Mugsy answers from Bisque's real catalog and the technique videos, with the source linked every time. One conversation covers products, techniques and the site itself.
It runs on Bisque's own accounts. The catalog refreshes every night from Bisque's own system, so the answers stay current without anyone touching them.
What came after.
Two more jobs followed from the same catalog data: search keywords for the website, delivered as a weekly file since July, and alt text for 11,682 product images.
